Volunteers Required to help with our disabled group
We need volunteers who can help to set up the room with tables and chairs, make and serve refreshments, clear tables and wash up. Our volunteers escort members to and from their minibuses and help on outings by pushing wheelchairs. They offer help to people who may need assistance with walking. Volunteers may be required to help disabled people leave the premises in the event of a fire. A degree of physical fitness is required. We would welcome volunteers who may have an interest in our committee work, eg raising funds, computer, secretarial and bookkeeping skills.

Good listener, empathy with people and patience. Enjoy helping others in a friendly atmosphere. Volunteers need to be physically fit, mobile and able to carry out the tasks listed.
