Scrapstore Assistant Volunteer
Community Scrapstore North Somerset
Providing support and assistance to our customers and selling our scrap resources
Reporting to our Scrapstore Manager, you will help our customers to explore the scrapstore and find resources suitable for their needs. You will help to restock and organise our display areas to suit the wide variety of items that we have available and keep everything free of EH&S hazards. You will also man the till, renew memberships and receive donated scrap resources. As and when you’re comfortable that you have enough experience we might occasionally ask you to open or look after the store when the Scrapstore Manager is out visiting suppliers or away.

This role will suit anyone who enjoys meeting people and is enthusiastic.
Our volunteers love the Community Scrapstore. We offer a unique service to our community, our members are lovely and there’s always a friendly can-do atmosphere. You will gain retail experience in a friendly environment and you can also gain experience in other roles such as events organisation and support.
