Detailed Description

We are looking for people 18+ who have some spare time and would like to give back time to the local community, by supporting arts and crafting activities at our centres. For this role we need you to have some experience/qualifications of using woodwork professionally e.g. a carpenter/joiner or similar

What skills are required for this role

Art & Craft, Carpentry

Why these skills are required

Good communication and interpersonal skills Empathy, understanding and sensitive to the needs of others. Interests in woodworking and qualifications and/or experience Ability to volunteer within the boundaries of NAS policies, eg Safeguarding, Confidentiality, Lone Working etc Reliable, consistent, dependable and trustworthy You will need to provide 2 references and also complete a DBS check

Time Commitment

At our centre in Weston Super Mare We are ideally looking for a volunteer to do two 3 hour sessions per week and we can be flexible on days and times Monday to Friday 9am to 4.30pm
