Volunteer Navigator

Vision North Somerset

Help people access mainstream activities

Detailed Description

The Community Navigator provides short-term, structured, activity-based support to individuals with sight loss who would like to attend a specific activity but lack the confidence or practical support to do so independently. Support is delivered within a fixed six-week framework per service user, providing a clear beginning, middle, and end to the support period. By contributing their time, Community Navigators help service users participate in community activities, build confidence, and develop the skills needed to continue independently.
