Social Media Content Creator (Part Of Social Media Team)

Donate For Defib W-s-M Project

To help raise awareness, engagement, and support for community-accessible defibrillators by creating and sharing positive, informative, and inspiring social media content that educates the public and encourages life-saving action.

Detailed Description

Key Responsibilities: Content Creation & Storytelling Create engaging social media content (posts, images, short videos, reels, stories) focused on defibrillator awareness, fundraising, community impact, and real-life stories. Help translate life-saving information into clear, friendly, and accessible content for all ages. Capture and share positive community moments, milestones, and local involvement. Platform Management Support posting content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and other agreed social channels. Assist with scheduling posts to maintain a consistent and active online presence. Monitor comments and messages where appropriate, escalating queries to project leads when needed. Community Engagement Encourage community interaction by responding to comments, sharing supporter posts, and promoting local businesses and partners involved in the project. Help promote fundraising events, defibrillator installations, training sessions, and awareness campaigns. Support campaigns that highlight volunteers, ambassadors, and community heroes. Collaboration & Teamwork Work closely with project leads, ambassadors, and fundraising teams to align content with current priorities and campaigns. Attend occasional local events or installations (when possible) to capture authentic content. Share ideas for new content formats, campaigns, or ways to grow community reach. Brand & Values Ensure all content reflects the project’s life-saving mission, values, and community-focused ethos. Use appropriate language and visuals when discussing sensitive topics such as cardiac arrest. Follow safeguarding, consent, and data protection guidance when sharing photos or stories. An interest in social media, storytelling, or digital content creation (experience welcome but not essential). Reliable, positive, and respectful approach to representing a life-saving project. Creativity, initiative, and willingness to learn. As and when you're available to volunteer, no time commitment as we work as a team to support each other within our Fundraising Team, and it's a volunteer role!

Donate For Defib W-s-M Project {We don't have a specific base or location, and we work remotely around Weston at fundraising events and key Defibrillator Location Sites including undertaking CPR / Defib Training, etc. We have regular meetings at the Air Ambulance Bases and support with conferences.
