To lead and oversee the project’s fundraising strategy, ensuring sustainable income to support defibrillator installations and maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement an annual fundraising strategy Lead and support the fundraising team Identify new income opportunities Monitor fundraising targets and performance Report progress to the Project Lead Ensure fundraising activities align with charity regulations 💛 Volunteer Role – Donate For Defib Weston-super-Mare Help us place and maintain life-saving public access defibrillators across our community. Donate For Defib Weston-super-Mare is an award-winning community project dedicated to increasing access to public defibrillators and raising awareness of cardiac arrest response. Make a true difference to your local community by supporting with fundraising for life-saving defibrillators! Be the difference of: Out-of-hospital cardiac arrests (OHCAs) occur tens of thousands of times each year in the UK — roughly 30,000–40,000+ annually (Resuscitation Council UK). Despite improvements in awareness, fewer than 1 in 10 people (≈8–10%) survive to 30 days or hospital discharge after an OHCA.
As and when you're available to volunteer, there's no time commitment as we work as a team to support each other within our Fundraising Team, and it's a volunteer role!
