Main tasks and responsibilities • Take care of the gated outside space and planting areas • Plant and maintain new pots with vegetables, fruit, and flowers • Link in occasionally with special events • Ensure the risk assessments are up to date and followed

Personal qualities, skills, and experience needed • Ability to manage your own time • Ability to work on your own initiative • Friendly, approachable, calm, flexible • Understanding of working in a child friendly space • Knowledge of gardening – vegetables and flowers • Ability to carry out physical tasks, such as digging and weeding • Awareness of health and safety issues
• Enjoyment of working outside • Experience to add to your CV • Possibility of reference for job application • Mileage and expenses will be covered
Weekly, fortnightly, monthly, ad-hoc. Flexible dates and times to be arranged when groups are not using the outside space
