To share knowledge of and enthusiasm for digital making and learning (coding) at regular sessions with groups of children aged 9 – 13, using Scratch, micro:bits, Raspberry Pi.
Running or assisting with regular Code Club sessions in libraries for children aged 9 – 13; • Planning coding activities using ready-made resources and projects on the Code Club UK website. You do not need to have any previous experience of volunteering or working in a library.

• An interest in libraries and desire to be an advocate for the service; • An interest in coding and digital making which you are able to share with the children; • Confidence in using computers and a willingness to learn simple coding programmes and equipment such as Scratch, micro:bits and Raspberry Pi; • To know how to stay safe online; • Experience of talking to children and helping them learn; • Good communication skills; • Patience; • Reliability.
