Volunteers Required
St Monica Trust is inviting volunteers to help with the Blossom Project the new befriending project at St Monica Trusts specialist dementia service in Sandford Winscombe. You will help residents living with dementia to live fuller lives and improve mental and social well-being through regular companionship and activities. The St Monica Trust volunteer team is made up of 120+ people from all walks of life.

*No previous experience *Reliability - able to volunteer on a regular basis *Empathy interest and adaptability to the needs of people living with dementia. *A willingness to learn about dementia including creating a positive environment for people to blossom and flourish *Willingness to work as part of a team *A willingness to attend induction and group support/training sessions (included in the 2 hours weekly volunteering)
