Telephone Befriender
Vision North Somerset
Volunteer Required
Through the generosity of volunteers donating their valuable time Vision North Somerset can provide telephone befrienders. This is a one-to-one companionship and support service over the phone for those at the highest risk of social isolation, due to minimal socialisation. Specifically, those who have sight loss difficulties, or who are registered sight impaired, severely sight impaired or hard of hearing and reside in North Somerset. With the kind support of our volunteers, we can make a difference to the wellbeing in the sight loss communities.
