Volunteers Required
Volunteers are needed to collect and change our pink elephant collection boxes in various parts of North Somerset. It is an opportunity to meet new people and engage with our existing generous collectors, who are highly valued for their work for at Vision. Vision North Somerset encourages volunteers to work independently with local businesses and venues to establish new collection locations. Collectors will be given a list pre existing addresses of in their area.

• Give back to your local community. • Social interaction with an individual and expand knowledge or interests. • Opportunities to complete further training. • Sight Awareness Training and Hard of Hearing Training. • Ability to change the lives of people with sight loss, across a varied age range. • Develop skills and experience to support job applications, where references for employment can be provided if required.
Vision North Somerset offers flexibility for its staff and volunteers, any availability can be discussed with our Volunteer Coordinator and Peer Support Coordinator prior to commencement. Currently, this requires two hours per month.
